Abstract

결 론
1984년 9월부터 1987년 2월까지 연세대학교 치과대학 치과병원 소아치과에 내원한 56명의
소아환자로부터 얻어진 80개 치아, 256개 치근관을 대상으로 치수 절제술 후 Vitapex
^R근관 충전에 관하여 임상적 및 방사선학적 연구를 시행한 결과 다음의 결론
을 얻었다.
1. 80개의 치아중 치아별로는 60개의 치아로 75%의 만족, 임상적으로는 68개 치아로 85%
의 만족, 방사선학적으로는 61개 치아로 76.3 %의 만족을 보였다.
2. 근관충전 상태에 따른 만족에서는 적정충전이 83.9 %로, 과충전이나 부족충전보다 우
수하게 나타났으며 이는 통계학적으로 유의한 수준이었다(p<0.05). 그리고 과충전과 부족충
전은 유사한 만족을 보였다.
3. 근관 종류에 대한 충전 상태의 차이는 하악의 근심 근관에서 부족충전의 경향을 보이
지만, 통계학적으로 유의적 차이는 없었다.

Author have studied on the satisfaction rate after root canal filling with Vitapex in
the primary molar teeth clinically and radiologically.
256 root canals fronts 80 teeth of the 56 children were filled with Vitape after root
canal treatment. Vitapex^R contains 30.3 g of calcium hydroxide, 40.4 g of
iodofornl,22.4 g of silicone oil and 6.9 g of other ingredients. Clinical examinations and
radiographs was taken before the treatment, after the root canal filling, and after the
recall examinations.
The results were as follows:
1. 60 of the 80 teeth (75%) were evaluated as satisfactory cases and clinically 68
teeth (85%) and radiologically 61 teeth (76.3%) were evaluated satisfactions.
2. There was a statistical significance in relation between root canal filling status and
satisfaction rate. Complete filling was the best in satisfaction rate (83.9%) and the
results of overfilling and underfilling were similar. (p<0.05).
3. Tendency of underfilling was seen in mandibular mesial canals, but there were no
statistical significances in canal filling status by root canals.
